Doug Gilmour was the Hero of The Toronto Maple Leafs Franchise for many years. Witht he aquisition of Doug Gilmour in the 1991-1992 season came the excitement and Passion to the game of Hockey In Toronto. I believe that Toronto Is Truly a Hockey town, and that is because of the Leafs Nation. All true Leafs fans can relate to knowing that Doug Gilmour is the one who brought light out of Darkness for the Leafs Franchise, that same light all Leafs fans are looking to return in the upcoming NHL Season.

He unlike those already shown in the blast to the pasts, had a supreme passion for the game that he made very evident to all. He would make it an obligation to go through hoops for the fans of the Leafs, and in doing so re-ignited the passionate flame the Leafs Franchise had been lacking for years previous. Doug Gilmour #93, was #1 in Leafs Fans hearts on the Ice! Thats your blast from the Past for this Week! Don't forget that you can also see the MCC Blog to hear of the intense Foozeball action!
Hey, I know I have tons of blogs already with the Foozeball blog then this one, but I decided, in my new found class called procrastination that I would do as a class project a blog about myself: http://alookindarrellsbubble.blogspot.com/
Paul Henderson is famous across Canada, probably second to stomp'in Tom as far as a great Canadian. In the Summit series of 1972, a very memorable moment in history of Canada and Hockey Paul Henderson scored what would be the greatest goal of all-time against our nations rival the Soviets or otherwise known as the Russian republic. This was a memorable moment that put this great Toronto Maple Leafs player in the books to be remembered throughout history.
This weeks highlight is a blast from the past, a Leafs great Wendel Clark. Keep checking up because in the future we will have updates on standings in the Hockey Pools and even some more Blasts from the past of the best Hockey Team Ever!
